the theory of productivity. or not.
skipped my maths lecture today.
heh.
oh well,
my theory will be since the prof won't make sense to you anyway
and you'll be sleeping,
why not utilise the time in a better fashion and do something productive?
:)
sounding like a true econs student now ain't i?
my itinery for work didn't turn out to be that productive in the end.
that is, i can hardly call catching a movie and shopping productive, right?
heh.
caught land of the dead with shu and yh.
typical virus-infect-humans, surviving-few-trying-to-kill-the-infected.
"stenchers" as they call them in the show.
the difference of this show compared to the others would be it being more gruesome
and really gross,
as the stenchers will pull like intestines and everything out to eat first after chwing off a few bites of flesh.
which looks totally fake
(to me at least; the intestines looks so tough and i tot they should be slimy and soft? the ease of which they tear the meat baffles/scares me too. are we really
THAT fragile? *shudders*)
i guess there are some underlying political critiscisms in the show too,
like almost all american shows nowadays.
a high and holy boss living in the "fiddler's green" where everything is protected and luxurious,
while the rest of the world is fenced out or sent to fight the war to ensure the rich's survival.
like -.-
to me, people in fiddler's green are a rather sad lot though.
they are trying too hard to delude themselves that lives are still normal
(including details right down to putting mechanical birds in cages so as to listen to them chirp)
and naively think that they will forever be safe in that little haven of theirs,
while the highest order flees the minute he got wind of danger posed to the building.
i like the fat guy in the show though.
he's so straight-forward it's hilarious.
and he says stuff like "no choice, close doors" with sucha straight face.
LOL.
cuteeee.
not much trophies from shopping though.
have to take into account of my pathetic amount of money in the bank
and the possibility that shu will be bored while me and yh ohhh-ed and ahhh-ed over the stuff.
LOL.
it's been ages since i've been to town.
and the return have to be marked by the day when students get to be dismissed early.
who would have remembered that it's the eve of teachers' day?
sorry for being
boh sim but yeah, i forgot.
*shrugs*
i hate people without cinema etiquette.
like who ever fancies having loud comments thrown around when the movie's already started?!
youngsters nowadays ar...
*shakes head*
and i'm down to two tests next week!
i guess the prof finally realised that he's wayyyy behind schedule for his lectures
and pushed the test back so as to finish the allocated 6 chaopters taht we are required to study for the test.
but darn!
i was hoping he'll get through the test with only 4 chapters!
don't have to study so much you see.
but sigh, no such luck.
getting out of studying mode and breathing a wiff of fresh and free air is so refreshing!
and now, i'd've to be back in my mugging mode.
ciao.
